Useful resources

Here are some of the resources I found useful for my career as an indie author. I hope you find something to help you along the way.

Arts & Graphics

Canva is your new master now! From book covers, to promo posters, and book trailers, I’ve done everything there! You can do loads on the free version, but if you have some budget, I recommend going premium.

Want to create a super cool map for your epic story? Inkarnate is a lovely tool, very user-friendly, even for absolute beginners like me. I did not try the paid platform yet.

This is a cool & quick tool if you need to remove the background of an image, but don’t want to open Canva. Quick and easy and works like charm.

Inspiration

The go-to tool if you want to find inspiration for fantasy names, be it for your characters, world, cities, forests, lakes, seas… You name it!

It’s fully FREE and it’s constantly evolving.

Miscellaneous

Just do yourself a favour and get a Linktree account. It will save you the grief of trying to remember every single social, website, book link, and whatnot you need to remember to promote yourself.

Just do it. Trust me on this.
